Auditions

Auditions occur year round; however, please note that singing with us may not happen in the same semester in which you audition. It depends on how far along the semester is when you audition. 

You should be prepared for sight reading and please be ready to sing two contrasting pieces. Any two pieces will do—even songs like Jingle Bells or God Bless America. We just need to hear your voice in a way that highlights what you can do. The audition process will take around twenty minutes, and the location will be specified after we receive your audition request.

Membership Benefits

1. VALUE:  Six and half hours (6.5) of music instruction per month.  It is an incredible value that is worth well over $400 per month when you consider that most music instruction costs around $65 per hour or more!

2. VOICE LESSONS:  All members have the opportunity for a 30-minute voice lesson with the artistic director each month, which is included in the cost of dues. Those who currently have voice teachers and would like to waive this option may do so, and pay a reduced rate for dues. However, please note, all members are expected to have a voice teacher while singing in the ensemble.

3. ONLINE RECORDINGS:  We will regularly record performances to post online.

4. RECOGNITION OF MEMBERS:  With the consent of members, photos and bios of our vocalists will be placed on our website. Additionally, we will highlight members each month in a special video. 

5. SOCIAL EVENTS:  We will hold regular social events such as, potlucks, singalongs, and other events as suggested by our members.

Monthly Dues

Monthly: $100 

Seasonally: Sept – Dec $400 / Jan. – June $600

PLEASE NOTE: Scholarships are available for those that feel they cannot afford the dues. No one will be turned away for financial reasons. Please simply let us know you’ll need help. 

Dues are $100 per month per individual. We offer a family rate of $100 for the first member and $50 for each additional family member per month.

The fee for persons under 18 years of age joining as individuals will be $50 per month. Adult rate shall take effect on January 1st following the year the person turns 18.

A 5% discount is applied if the yearly dues are paid in advance.

Prorated Dues: Those who join in the middle of the season will be expected to quickly get up to speed on learning their music, but dues will be prorated based on the months remaining in the season.

Refunds: Dues shall generally not be refundable. Each member is responsible for paying the total dues for any semester in which they participate. Dues may be refunded in extenuating circumstances as determined on a case by case basis.
